Oil <br />1 tsp. Mustard Seeds <br />1 tsp. Cumin Seeds <br />7-8 Curry Leaves <br />1 Dry Red Chilli <br />2 tbsp. Split Chickpeas, soaked for 60 minutes <br />2 tbsp. Orange Lentils, soaked for 60 minutes <br />2 tbsp. Split Black Gram Lentils, soaked for 60 minutes <br />½ cup Water <br />½ tsp. Turmeric Powder <br />1 tsp. Ginger-Garlic Paste <br />Salt, to taste <br />2 tbsp. Tamarind Pulp <br />Cooked Basmati Rice (2 cups before cooking) <br />3 tbsp. Groundnuts, soaked for 60 minutes <br /> <br /> <br />Method:- <br />- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves and a dry red chilli. Stir. <br />- Add the soaked lentils, coriander leaves and saute. <br />- Now add water, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste and salt. <br />- Cover with a lid and cook until the lentils are half cooked. <br />- Then add tamarind pulp and cooked Basmati Rice to this.
